these texts are an archive of my life in the San Francisco Bay Area from march 2007 - march 2015. it stands as a record of close to a decade of my life, charting the struggles i faced as an artist, daughter, and lover. messy and chaotic at times, eloquent and poetic at others, these texts are an index i am proud of. it was here in this electric box that i learned how to be honest about my experiences and the person i needed to become. it was here that i first learned the truism that words make the world and how to trust such a beautiful, rife, hard fact.

thank you for meeting me here in such tall grass.

my artist website is here.

Wow that is a photo of her? I had not seen any, only read her works.

And yes, someone should celebrate VDay, it won't be me - bah humbug this year! JK - a little I will celebrate the kiddies I work with... better than nothing.

marta, isn't she stunning! i'm reading her Diaries right now. i just finished volume 1 and volume 2 should be arriving in the mail any day now.

i didn'y used to like valentines day but i decided to enbrace it a few years ago- make it a day about love and romance for ME. a day for me to share my loves and romantic view of life and not feel embarrassed about it. i send my friends valentines and wear perfume and write in my notebook. that's pretty much it. celebrate it with me, girl! <3
