these texts are an archive of my life in the San Francisco Bay Area from march 2007 - march 2015. it stands as a record of close to a decade of my life, charting the struggles i faced as an artist, daughter, and lover. messy and chaotic at times, eloquent and poetic at others, these texts are an index i am proud of. it was here in this electric box that i learned how to be honest about my experiences and the person i needed to become. it was here that i first learned the truism that words make the world and how to trust such a beautiful, rife, hard fact.

rite
well... i found my lady bug. or his body rather. right here on the desk all dried up. :( i'm not going to throw his corpse away. i'm going to leave him right here on the desk and let him degrade at his own pace. poor little guy. and if i had put him outside he would've froze to death. we got flurries of snow yesterday.

I'm not sure of the life cycle of a lady bug but they probably don't live that long anyhow, but certainly not indoors, at least I doubt it. Maybe a burial of sorts is in order, though it's probably difficult to find the soil.
no, i don't think they do live very long... i was hoping he'd be my little pet for 2 weeks but such is mortality, i suppose. it really has no consideration for a person's preferrences.
