these texts are an archive of my life in the San Francisco Bay Area from march 2007 - march 2015. it stands as a record of close to a decade of my life, charting the struggles i faced as an artist, daughter, and lover. messy and chaotic at times, eloquent and poetic at others, these texts are an index i am proud of. it was here in this electric box that i learned how to be honest about my experiences and the person i needed to become. it was here that i first learned the truism that words make the world and how to trust such a beautiful, rife, hard fact.
i'll stare at them a bit longer... a couple more days. and i might realize i'm getting ahead of myself but today, out in the cold and with the pain in my stomach, it feels complete.
somehow... a bit more somber than the others.
maybe it's the light. i'll have to snap a better picture once the sun comes back.

thanks sMac! i'm starting to think it needs a few delicate highlights here and there but otherwise it's done. this one was a problem child. i'm pretty pleased. ;)

Jeesh, that's stunning!
There is something extra mysterious about this one, the stories they could tell, the histories they know.
This is beautiful... the detail of the door in the back...
