these texts are an archive of my life in the San Francisco Bay Area from march 2007 - march 2015. it stands as a record of close to a decade of my life, charting the struggles i faced as an artist, daughter, and lover. messy and chaotic at times, eloquent and poetic at others, these texts are an index i am proud of. it was here in this electric box that i learned how to be honest about my experiences and the person i needed to become. it was here that i first learned the truism that words make the world and how to trust such a beautiful, rife, hard fact.

Oh!!!!!!!
:)
i am speechless at the fabulousness of this. a banner! draped on a tree! as an LED sign! done with crochet stitch!
and the message, the MESSAGE!
did you leave this banner hanging on the tree, like an andy goldsworthy, a piece of art given to nature?
thanks roz!!!!
no, it's in my DRAWER OF MYSTERIOUS CRAFTING in my bedroom. :) but ever since i took this picture i've been thinking of a "poem tree". all the limbs used as hooks for these fragments of stories or lables, signs, directions. i don't know. still dreaming of it.
i've worn this out in public and recieved some very funny looks as a result! hahahahaha!
i'm so happy you like it. :)
